I met Heather and Sean pretty recently, and I’m SO glad they chose me for their wedding photography! So, you might be wondering where exactly this spot is because it doesn’t look like the typical Woodruff Fontaine wedding! Well, there’s a tiny, little gingerbread-esque house behind the Fontaine house. It was so cute! Like a mini Victorian Village, and it almost looked like a life-sized doll house! Haha! ๐ Luckily, Heather and Sean’s ceremony was pretty small, so everyone could fit! I love small ceremonies like that because you know that the people who are there are definitely the most important people in your life to celebrate with you. The day is alllllllllll about the bride and groom, and luckily for me, there’s so much more time for photos with a small family and no wedding party! Of course, that’s a biased opinion from a photographer, but whatever……On Heather and Sean’s day, I was able to grab some amazing portraits of Heather! I was just dying from all of the little nooks and crannies I found take bridal portraits! Eeee!
Let’s talk about some of the logistics from their day! The ceremony was at the Woodruff Fontaine House…obviously. They opted to have photos inside the house, which is an extra charge, but there were some pretty interesting spots in there to shoot. The really cool bridal portraits by the staircase are from the inside area on the third floor. Additionally, Heather and Sean did a traditional look.ย Usually, I’m a huge fan of the first look, but for such a small wedding, traditional looks are, honestly, a little better. The day, in general is so laid back with a start time closer to the ceremony that you might not even have time for bride and groom portraits beforehand. So, it worked out better, anyways. I loved being there for their big day!! What an awesome, hilarious, adorable couple!! Congratulations, y’all!
And now, for Heather and Sean’s Woodruff Fontaine House Wedding…..
The details, man. Heather OUTDID herself on the signs, favors, and dรฉcor at the reception. It was SO CUTE! She even had a Sundae bar, which was a HUGE hit with the kids….and the adults, too. Everyone likes a good sundae bar.
I want to send out a special thanks to my assistant, Janelle. Great job! ๐
